Fish ‘N Football

Saturday, August 30, 2025 from 5-9 PM | Provenance Town Center

Fish ‘N Football is back and bigger than ever! Members and the public are invited to join us for our annual Fish N’ Football celebration! Live music by Hidden Tracks will kick things off before we stream the LSU vs. Clemson game on the big screen!

The event is free & open to the public, but members get the VIP treatment with: Catered fish fry by Johnny’s Catfish, complimentary drinks (water, soda & beer) and access to an exclusive members-only section.

Bring the whole family — there will be games, inflatables, and fun for all ages! Nearby restaurants will have food & drinks available, and we’ll have two cash bars for adult beverages.

Annual Crawfish Boil

Every year in late April, Independence Bowl Foundation members enjoy an afternoon of crawfish, music and fun! 

Foundation members received two tickets for the all-you-can-eat crawfish and jambalaya from Shaver’s Catering. Join the Foundation to secure your tickets for all-you-can-eat crawfish and jambalaya!

Big Game Welcome party

Bowl Week  |  Riverview Hall 

When teams get into town for bowl week, Foundation Members, Sponsors, local officials, and media members are invited to join both teams for the Big Game Welcome Party! Everyone in attendance, including coaches and players, get a taste of some of Louisiana’s best food! Following the feast, the two teams battle in the Big Game Show! The Big Game Show features players and coaches facing off in popular game shows like Family Feud, Jeopardy and more!

RACKETS ON THE ROCKS

April 4, 2025 from 6-8 PM | Pierremont Oaks Tennis Club

We hosted the inaugural Rackets on the Rocks on the eve of the 2025 USTA Junior Tennis Classic on Friday, April 4 at Pierremont Oaks Tennis Club! The event was open to the public and featured a social hour with free margaritas, chips, salsa, queso and hor d’oeuvres before a “Hit for Prizes” contest! Independence Bowl Foundation members received two free rounds for Hit for Prizes, and non-members purchased unlimited rounds for $20. Participants had the chance to win prizes and gift cards from various local business. All proceeds will help fund the Independence Bowl’s Extra Yard for Teachers initiative, benefiting local teachers and classrooms.
