PB149701HThe Independence Bowl Foundation is currently accepting applications from area non-profit organizations for the Charitable Donation Program.

Applications can be filled out by clicking here, and applications are due by Wednesday, Aug. 6.

Each year, the Independence Bowl Foundation takes $1 from each ticket sold – including team allotments – and distributes it equally among four area non-profit organizations. The program is designed to enhance efforts by local non-profit organizations to fill identifiable areas of need within the community.

The Charitable Donation Program began in 2013, and the previous recipients were Sci-Port, Holy Angels Residential Facility, Wounded Warrior Project and the College Football Assistance Fund.
